Invitation from the Convenor

On behalf of the organising committee I have great pleasure in inviting you to attend the Australasian Society for Bipolar Disorders (ASBD) conference that is to be held in Sydney, in September 2007.

This will be the second meeting under the umbrella of the ASBD, which formally constituted in 2004 and is affiliated with the International Society of Bipolar Disorders.

Sydney is the perfect location to host the 2007 ASBD conference as it has a longstanding tradition of mood disorders research and in recent years Bipolar Disorder has become the focus of intense research activity across all domains from basic neuroscience to clinical management.

This conference aims to bring together researchers and clinicians from the scientific community worldwide to highlight the latest developments that have enhanced our understanding of Bipolar Disorder and improved clinical outcome.
